Students will take this one-credit online course before taking the Foundations level of either language. This course covers the alphabets of both Hebrew and Greek, the most commonly used vocabulary of each language, and basic principles of syntax. Concepts of English grammar will provide a framework for future language study. Through exposure to both Hebrew and Greek in this course, students will clarify which language(s) they want to study as part of their academic program. This experience with the languages and rhythms of grammar study will lay the groundwork for a successful experience in the Foundations level of the language program.
