About Rachel

Rachel joined the Marketing and Communications Team in January 2021. She is responsible for designing print and online visual communication pieces for bgÕæÈË, with a special focus on communicating about events and programs of bgÕæÈË’s Church Leadership Center.

Rachel previously served for six years as Associate Graphic Designer for 1st Source Bank in South Bend (2014–20). She has been a freelance graphic designer since 2014. She also worked for Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference as Communications Coordinator for two years (2012–14).

Rachel lives in Elkhart and attends Prairie Street Mennonite Church. She married Inyerman Fonseca in May 2021. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening, knitting and various crafts, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
