Greg Boyd to lecture at bg真人

Greg Boyd, best-selling author, pastor and theologian, will present a lecture at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the seminary’s chapel.
Boyd’s lecture is titled, “Keeping God’s Kingdom ‘Holy’: Resisting the Temptation to be Practical.”

In addition, Boyd will meet with local pastors on Friday morning, April 25, from 8 to 10 a.m., sharing experiences of being a public theologian. A light breakfast will be served. Boyd is author of the best-selling book, The Myth of a Christian Nation: How the Quest for Political Power Is Destroying the Church (Zondervan 2007). More recent books include Present Perfect: Finding God in the Now (Zondervan 2010) and Benefit of the Doubt: Breaking the Idol of Certainty (Baker Books 2013).
Boyd is the founder and senior pastor of Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul, Minn., and founder and president of ReKnew, where believers and skeptics ask tough questions and consider a renewed picture of God. He was a professor of theology at Bethel College, St. Paul, Minn., for sixteen years. He is earned a PhD from Princeton Theological Seminary and also is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Yale Divinity School.
