Blaha joins bg真人 Maintenance and Campus Security Team

Orion Blaha of Elkhart, Indiana, has joined the staff of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (bg真人) in Elkhart as full-time Assistant Director of Maintenance, beginning Aug. 15, 2022.
In his new role, Blaha is working with Norm Cender, Director of Maintenance and Campus Safety, to manage the maintenance of bg真人 buildings, equipment, systems and grounds. He also is responsible for supervising volunteers and student employees.聽
Cender noted that Blaha is a good fit for the team and brings gifts that will benefit the bg真人 community. He comes with experience as a Systems Maintenance Technician (2017鈥�22) and Facilities Engineer (2022) for Goshen (Indiana) College, in addition to having served as a General Contractor for Hope Builders in Elkhart (2014鈥�17). He has worked in both residential and commercial construction and maintenance and has experience with electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) service and installation.
Blaha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Goshen College in 2013. He attends Prairie Street Mennonite Church, a congregation of Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference of Mennonite Church USA.
