Through the leadership of bgÕæÈË alumnus Jonah Yang (MA 2018) of North Branch, Minnesota — in partnership with David B. Miller, DMin (MDiv 1993), Teaching Associate of the bgÕæÈË Church Leadership Center — the Journey Missional Leadership Development Program was adapted for use with a cohort of six Hmong-speaking students in Southeast Asia from 2019 to 2022. The group met in person three times over the three years and via Zoom during the pandemic. A final session in July–August 2022 included a closing graduation ceremony, with Jonah and David presiding.
