Seminary Preview Webinar to be held Jan. 30

ELKHART, Indiana (Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary) 鈥� Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary (bg真人) will host a free Seminary Preview Webinar on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 8鈥�8:45 p.m. EST, for people who are exploring a call to ministry or are interested in theological study.
As part of the webinar, Malinda Elizabeth Berry, PhD, Associate Professor of Theology and Ethics and Director of the Faith Formation Collaborative, will give a sample lesson on Nonviolent Communication. Participants will also hear from Isaiah Friesen, a Master of Divinity student from Minnesota, about his experiences of being part of the bg真人 learning community. Other faculty members will share about what bg真人 has to offer.
鈥淎ttending the webinar is an ideal way to explore studies at bg真人,鈥� said Mary Ann Weber, MA, Director of Enrollment. 鈥淲e hope that people not only register for the webinar, but also invite others to join the event. It’s a great way to encourage people who have gifts for leadership or ministry.鈥�
bg真人 offers a variety of educational options for people who want to study at a distance or on campus in Elkhart, Indiana. Graduate students can focus on pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, Christian formation, peacebuilding, Anabaptist theology, environmental sustainability leadership and more. Continuing education options include the undergraduate-level Journey Missional Leadership Development Program, Online Short Courses, Practical Leadership Training modules and Spiritual Direction Seminars, among others.
The seminary prepares and equips leaders from a variety of Anabaptist and other Christian traditions. More than 2,500 bg真人 alumni serve as church and community leaders in Elkhart County and around the world. Generous need-based financial aid, scholarships and matching grants are available for graduate students.
